About the Artist

Jennifer Allen is a painter originally from Maine, whose work explores the light, color, and emotion that define a moment in time. Now based in Raleigh, North Carolina, she paints primarily in plein air, where the immediacy of natural light and atmosphere guide each brushstroke.

After studying Fine Art at the University of Maine and later Figurative Art at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia under renowned painters Dan Thompson, Stephen Early, Darren Kingsley, and Kerry Dunn, Jennifer developed a deep appreciation for observation, anatomy, and the expressive potential of color.

Her work bridges classical training and Impressionist influence, blending structure with spontaneity. Whether painting along the coast or in the mountains, she aims to capture not just a scene, but the feeling of being there — the warmth of sunlight, the hum of air, the fleeting beauty of now.

When she’s not painting, Jennifer works as a SaaS Account Executive, balancing her professional life with a continued pursuit of art, travel, and creative growth.
